Here’s a melty, spicy, and irresistible recipe for a Rollicking Buckaroo Pepper Jam Calzone
Ingredients (Makes 2 Calzones)
1 ball pizza dough (divided in half)
1/2 cup Rollicking Buckaroo Pepper Jam (Medium)
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
12–14 slices pepperoni or your favorite filling (can sub with sautéed mushrooms, spinach, etc.)
Olive oil for brushing
Optional: pinch of Italian seasoning or red pepper flakes
Instructions
Preheat oven to 475°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Roll out each dough half into an 8-inch circle on a lightly floured surface.
Spread 2–3 tablespoons of Rollicking Buckaroo Pepper Jam on one half of each dough circle, leaving a 1-inch border.
Add shredded mozzarella and pepperoni (or your preferred fillings) on top of the jam.
Fold over the dough to create a half-moon shape. Press the edges with a fork or your fingers to seal tightly.
Brush the top with olive oil and sprinkle with seasoning if desired.
Bake for 12–15 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
Cool slightly, then cut in half to reveal that molten, jam filling. Serve hot!
