A fun and easy recipe that kids will love! This Sweet & Spicy Cowboy Grilled Cheese takes a classic favorite and gives it a Rollicking Buckaroo twist with a touch of sweet heat. The gooey cheese pairs perfectly with the sweet & spicy kick from Rollicking Buckaroo Pepper Jam, making it a flavor-packed snack or lunch that’s sure to be a hit!
🌟 Ingredients
2 slices of thick-cut bread (like sourdough or Texas toast)
1 tablespoon butter (softened)
2 slices cheddar cheese
1 slice mozzarella or provolone cheese
1 tablespoon Rollicking Buckaroo Pepper Jam (Extra Hot or Medium, depending on spice preference)
Optional: 2 slices of crispy bacon for an extra crunch
👩🍳 Directions
Spread the butter on one side of each bread slice. This will make it golden and crispy when grilled!
On the unbuttered side of one slice, spread a thin layer of Rollicking Buckaroo Pepper Jam.
Layer the cheese on top of the jam—cheddar first, then mozzarella/provolone, then the second slice of cheddar. (Add bacon here if using.)
Place the second slice of bread on top, buttered side facing out.
