Here’s a bold and flavorful Vegan Spicy-Sweet Glazed Tofu recipe featuring Rollicking Buckaroo Pepper Jam and Jalapeño Seasoning Salt—perfect for a protein-packed, plant-based meal!


🔥 Spicy-Sweet Buckaroo Glazed Tofu

Ingredients:

  • 1 block (14 oz.) extra-firm tofu, pressed and cubed
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp Rollicking Buckaroo Pepper Jam (any flavor)
  • 1 tsp Jalapeño Seasoning Salt
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce or tamari
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup (for extra sweetness)
  • 1 tsp rice vinegar
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp smoked paprika
  • Optional garnish: sliced green onions, sesame seeds, lime wedges

Instructions:

  1. Press the tofu for at least 15 minutes to remove excess moisture. Cut into bite-sized cubes.
  2. Toss the tofu cubes in cornstarch to create a crispy coating.
  3. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat and fry the tofu until golden brown on all sides. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same pan, combine Rollicking Buckaroo Pepper Jam, Jalapeño Seasoning Salt, soy sauce, maple syrup, rice vinegar, garlic powder, and smoked paprika. Stir until the sauce thickens.
  5. Add the crispy tofu back to the pan and toss to coat evenly in the spicy-sweet glaze.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with green onions, sesame seeds, and lime wedges. Enjoy over rice, noodles, or as a flavorful appetizer!
