🔥 Spicy-Sweet Buckaroo Glazed Tofu
Ingredients:
- 1 block (14 oz.) extra-firm tofu, pressed and cubed
- 2 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp Rollicking Buckaroo Pepper Jam (any flavor)
- 1 tsp Jalapeño Seasoning Salt
- 1 tbsp soy sauce or tamari
- 1 tbsp maple syrup (for extra sweetness)
- 1 tsp rice vinegar
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp smoked paprika
- Optional garnish: sliced green onions, sesame seeds, lime wedges
Instructions:
- Press the tofu for at least 15 minutes to remove excess moisture. Cut into bite-sized cubes.
- Toss the tofu cubes in cornstarch to create a crispy coating.
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat and fry the tofu until golden brown on all sides. Remove and set aside.
