Pepper Jam Margarita


3 oz. Blanco tequila

1 oz. orange liqueur (Cointreau or Grand Marnier)

1 oz. freshly squeezed lime juice

1/4 to 1/2 oz. Rollicking Buckaroo Pepper Jam-Medium (jalapeño pepper jam)

Salt, for the rim of the glass, if desired (I opted for salt free drinks)

Lime wheel, as a garnish


If salting your glass, run a lime wedge around the top and dip it in a plate of coarse salt.

Combine the tequila, orange liqueur, lime juice and pepper jam in a cocktail shaker with ice.

Shake vigorously for 30 seconds.

Pour through a fine-meshed strainer over ice into margarita glasses or old fashioned glasses.

Garnish and enjoy! I don’t recommend more than two of these – they’ll getcha!
