🔥 Cast-Iron Pepper Jam Raclette Skillet

🔥 Cast-Iron Pepper Jam Raclette Skillet

Cozy. Melty. Shareable. Utterly irresistible.

This is a pull-apart, dunk-and-scoop appetizer that feels indulgent without being fussy—perfect for curling up on a cold winter night.

Why it’s different

Not wings. Not sliders. Not dips.
This is interactive comfort food—slow-melted cheese, warm bread, and sweet heat coming together in one skillet.

Ingredients (Serves 4–6)

8 oz raclette cheese (or fontina if unavailable), sliced

4 oz aged white cheddar, cubed

2–3 tbsp Rollicking Buckaroo Pepper Jam

1 small clove garlic, finely grated

Fresh thyme (or rosemary), minced

Fresh cracked black pepper

Warm accompaniments for dipping:

Crusty bread chunks

baby potatoes

Apple slices or pear wedges

Cornichons or pickled onions

Instructions

Preheat oven to 400°F

Lightly oil a small cast-iron skillet. Scatter cheddar evenly across the bottom.

Layer raclette slices on top, overlapping slightly.

Dot the surface with Rollicking Buckaroo Pepper Jam—don’t spread it, let it melt naturally.

Sprinkle with garlic, thyme, and black pepper.

Bake 10–12 minutes, until cheese is fully melted and bubbling at the edges.

Switch to broil for 30–60 seconds to lightly blister the top (watch closely).

Serve immediately—straight from the skillet.
